Locking systems

- Several profile cylinders may be combined to form a key or a locking system.

Key based systems may be designed as: - Central lock systems

- Master key systems

- Grand master group key systems

- Grand master main group key systems On customer's request, we can also supply: - Uni-locking profile cylinders

- Master key central lock systems

- Grand master key central lock systems

- Combinations of the individual locking systems

Single cylinders and locking system double cylinders can be provided with an emergency and danger function. This feature makes it possible, using an identical key, to unlock locks which are in the locked condition with the key in, irrespective of the locking position.

For qualified advice on your specific problems, you can turn to the after-sales service department of our company or to one of our specialised dealers.

Note:

So-called uni-locking profile cylinders may be incorporated in all locking system variants.

These profile cylinders make it possible to reduce the number of keys required as well as the total number of individual lockings to be performed in a system. The customer is provided with a locking schema and a code card for each locking system. The locking schema gives a detailed overview of the configuration of the locking system and, together with the numbering system, makes for easy installation.

In addition, it assures the required clarity during the actual operation of the system.

All systems are supplied with a protected profile. Single cylinders with a protected profile are available, too. Together with these products, the user also receives a code card.

Any repeat orders of keys will be processed only, and repairs, amendments to or extensions of systems performed only if this code card is submitted.

To simplify this procedure, it is possible to use the imprinters and order slips commonly employed in this field in connection with the customer specific station plates.

Aspects to be taken into account when designing a system !

- Forms suited for data processing purposes should be used in defining the details of locking systems.

Such forms are available from the manufacturer on customer's request.

- Customers planning to extend their systems in the future should take this fact into account already in the initial order. (It is sufficient to give the number of different lockings.)

- Please turn directly to SchlieBanlagen GmbH Pfaffenhain for any clarifications you may require.

The combined installation of safety profile cylinders in locking systems provides for the required security, order and clarity in objects of any size, freeing the personnel at the same time from cumbersome locking procedures.

In connection with the advantages offered by a safety profile cylinder, locking systems from Pfaffenhain enable all kinds of companies and facilities to streamline their security procedures in the field of locking. Thanks to the special configuration of the systems, access to buildings or rooms may be permitted or denied to certain persons. Since individual locking areas or the entire locking system may be locked with just one higher-order key, unhandy bunches of keys may be dispensed with, and appropriate measures may be taken without delay in case of emergencies.

Locking systems - The central lock system

In a central lock system, several different individual keys are used for a single lock- the central lock. With his apartment key, any tenant of an apartment house may open and lock, apart from his own apartment's door, the front door and loft door of the house, but never the doors of his neighbours' apartments.

Locking systems - The central lock system with technical master key

The key of a tenant fits the cylinder of his own apartment, those of the front door and cellar door as well as of the doors of rooms designed for use by all tenants of the building concerned.

The postman's key will fit only the cylinder of the front door.

The caretaker's key will only open the front door and allow access to the rooms containing the building's technical installations.

Locking systems - The master key system

In a master key system, an additional key- the master key - is used in addition to the individual keys belonging to the differently locking locks for opening and locking all locks of a system.

Advantages:
The user of a master key system needs only one key for getting access to all rooms belonging to the system. Thus, e.g., help can be rendered without delay in case of an emergency.

Note: Customers planning to extend their locking system in the future should take this fact into account already in the initial order.

Locking systems - The grand master group key system

Two or more master key systems, then designated as groups, form a grand master group key system.

In this system, the group key fits all the different individual locks in its respective group, while the grand master key fits all locks of the entire system.

Advantages:
The user of a grand master group key system requires only one key each for the individual sections of the system to lock up or open a certain section. A further key, the grand master key, fits all locks of the system.

Note:
Customers planning to extend their locking system in the future should take this fact into account already in the initial order.

Locking systems - The grand master main group key system

The configuration of the grand master main group key system is similar to that of the grand master group key systems. It offers the possibility, however, to have the locks of two or more groups operated by an additional key - the main group key.

Advantages:
As compared with the grand master group key system, the individual sections may be subdivided even further.

Note:
Customers planning to extend their locking system in the future should take this fact into account already in the initial order.
